A course for parents and carers equipping them to develop their child’s communication and social skills. Accredited at level 1 through the Open College Network.
Duration = 7 weeks
Per person: £135 to include the workbook and children’s activity books
Accreditation fee = £22 per person.

Total for 10 accredited learners = £1494
A course for assistant and teaching staff equipping them to develop children’s communication and social skills within the setting. Accredited at levels 2 and 3 through the Open College Network.
Duration = 10 weeks
Schools can cluster together to commission this course or apply for courses running locally for individual staff members.
Per per person: £255 to include a copy of language Builders. Accreditation fee = £40.
For clusters: Total for 10 accredited learners = £2800 5% discount applies for courses booked by a cluster (minimum of 10)
This course teaches how speech develops and how to support children with unclear speech.
It gives the learner a structured approach to support children with unclear speech through the website ‘Speech Therapy Direct’. This allows the learner to work with a child independently once the SLT has conducted the initial assessment. This is a cost effective and practical way of training staff to follow a therapy programme with one child which can then be used with other children.
Per person: £120 to include access for one year to the Speech Therapy Direct website which can be used with many children.
Accreditation fee = £40
